The Hinan-jo (Evacuation Center) is a facility that provides first aid, rescue, and information after safety from the disaster has been confirmed. People whose houses were damaged by the disaster can temporarily live at an evacuation center. (Refer to the "List of Designated Evacuation Centers and Secondary Evacuation Centers（外部サイト）")
When to Use the Evacuation Center
- Your residence was damaged and you cannot live there anymore.
- Your residence is in danger of damage.
- Your residence is in danger of collapse by aftershocks.
- Your residential area is isolated by the disaster and you joined a group evacuation.
