Collection Boxes for Recyclable Garbage

Tokushima City has set up collection boxes as below. Please follow the designated disposal procedure so that the collected garbage can be properly recycled.

- Batteries can also be disposed on large garbage collection day. Please carefully separate them from other garbage in that case.
1. Check if the tray is acceptable or not.
2. Wash it well.
3. Dry it well.
4. Throw it away into a collection box without putting it in bags or binding it with strings.

The Tokushima City Eco Station
The Tokushima City Eco Station is a place where people can bring 21 kinds of recyclable household garbage to for disposal.

- 10:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays
- 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Sat., Sun. & national holidays (including year-end holiday from Dec. 29th to 31st)(Note: Closed on Jan.1st-3rd)
Resource/Garbage Separation App
There is a resource/garbage separation app called “threeR” (さんあ~る) that you can download on your smartphone or mobile tablets. This app will notify you of garbage collection days, has a guide about how to discard different resources/garbage, and more. A portion of the app is available in English and Chinese, in addition to Japanese. You can search and download “threeR” (さんあ~る) through any app store.
