Cancer Screenings

Cancer screenings are available between July 1 and December 20 (some cancer screenings are available until March 31). Notification postcards about the screenings are sent to registered residents who are eligible for this program. Please show your coupon when you go to your checkup.
If you wish to apply for an exemption from co-payments, please bring your driver’s license or insurance certificate for identification. Please contact us at the Health & Longevity Division if you do not receive the notification postcard. If your workplace provides you with a chance to have a cancer screening, please utilize that program instead.

*Additionally, you may receive an Institutional Health Screening, and undergo a separate specialty care checkup on the same day and at the same institution as that of your cancer screenings.
You may receive cancer screenings at the same institution on the same day with your specified medical checkups. For details, please see the notification postcard you receive.
