Which Facilities Can I Use? The Facility Selection Chart

　In regards to Kindergartens and other Childcare Centers, etc., the facilities you may use differ depending on your child's age, your household status, etc.
　Please use this page to determine which facility best suits your needs when making your choice.

Note 1: As of April 2025, City Childcare Services implemented within Tokushima City are defined as “Small-scale childcare services (with a capacity of 6 to 19 children)” as well as “On-site childcare services (in which business locations accept the children of employees/otherwise local children”.

• Is it a reasonable commute to and from your home to your desired facility?

• Have you confirmed the operating hours of your desired facility? Is it operating in hours that suit your needs?

• Does the educational programming・childcare services provided at the facility fall in line with your needs?

• Have you confirmed the amount of miscellaneous childcare costs (other than regular childcare fees) that will become necessary after admissions?

• Please be absolutely sure to confirm the details of the information regarding your desired facility directly via an in person tour, the school homepage, etc. before applying.

Application for use of Municipally Certificated Childcare Centers (Kindergarten Portion) (JPN only)
*Please contact your desired facility directly for more information when applying for use of the Kindergarten Portion of Private Certified Childcare Centers.

　You may utilize any uncertified childcare facilities without needing a certified reason said childcare is necessary.
　However, please note that even for uncertified childcare facility use, should you wish to receive a facility use fee relief grant, you are still required to submit an “Authorization for Facility Use Benefits”.
