This hearing test is implemented with the goal of detecting congenital hearing impairments during the newborn stage. The coupon for the newborn hearing test is included in the addendum of the “Maternal and Child Health Handbook.”
Please check with the medical institution where you gave birth at when deciding to choose either AABR or OAE.
