Children 6 months to 4 years of age are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Research through clinical trials in various overseas countries has confirmed the efficacy and safety of the vaccine. In an analysis of approximately 1,100 infants and young children, it was reported that efficacy against symptoms of COVID-19 (preventing the onset of the virus), even when infected with the virus, was estimated at 73.2% from 7 days after the 3rd dose of the vaccine.

The 1st dose of the vaccine is available to children aged 6 months to 4 years (from the day before they turn 6 months old, up to two days before their 5th birthday).
